The equipment list 


Laptop - Mack pro with the mixer software on it

Mixer This was used to play que and slow the tracks down on the mixer software on the mac

Microphone. sub zero fz 54 this was radio level microphone that we used for our radio show

Headphone splitter - we used a splitter so everyone inside of the group can listen to the radio show 

Headphones - The sub zero 200 mh that are very good noise canceling headphones 

Laptop charger  the laptop charger was key so the laptop did not die druing the recording

Camera - the cannon dslr we used was to record our show as proof that we did it live

EQUIPMENT SETUP






Mixer set up How it worked was that the mixer was plugged into a usb dongle as one of the usb's was broken on the mac and because of this we had to buy a dongle that had 3 sb in side of it this then plugged into the laptop and then we would plug the splitter into output and and output on the mixer . The microphone was also plugged the usb converter and the 3 headphones when inside of the splitter we also had a mac charger how ever when we used the mac we didn't need to use the charger as when we used it it had full charge 

 The Headphone icon represents the headphones that we used the sub zero 200 mh

 The laptop icon represents the macbook pro that we used.

 The usb represents usb slots and dongles

 The microphone icon reresents the sub zero microphone that we used 

 The line icons represent the wires that we used

 And the headphone wire represetns a splitter that we used so everyone could hear the radio show

We Changed our runnng order a bit in the show becuase we had to get rid of the autism awareness spot and we had a differant interviewer and it still worked quite well and we fllowed everything else on the running order

 c) following safe working practices 



today we did a practise run and we had a couple of problems and because of this we will have to do
more practise runs. Today we went into a differant room it would be quiter for our interviewer. Today was the first time we had a full run of our team today and it was good however it took us sometime to understand how this advanced kit works. unofrtunately i did not understand how to make sure that we are recording and unfortunately due to this fact when we recorded our interviewver it turned out that we didnt hear anything he was saying and becuase of this next time we w2il need t ka esure we do a couple oc practise recordings and we need to make sure we can hear the interviewer   

today we did another full reacts run and from teh technical side of things i found that it worked very well however unfortunately i found out that the package teams levels and intro stinger was all over the place it was a nice idea however it didnt work next practise run everything should go well and in the next run we should have another 3 minutes added becuase we have an intervierw and a section of the package team called the daily mc


My role as the producer for the news team worked well with others however our live team producer who is supposted to be the one controlling the equipment however as i understand how it works i was selected to use the equipmenyt and it seems to be working quite well

Pre Production

This is our screen shot of our audition timeline and we decided to remove the gap between the first sound and the second sound on track 2 to shorten the sweeper overall and shorten everything else. We also decided to add another effect onto the voice called flanger.

This is our screenshot of the audition timeline for the weather and travel and we decided that it was way to long and had some un needed sounds and therefore we cut it down 





This is our news screenshot and we decided that there was nothing wrong with it and we did not need to change it

The 5 minutes that i selected to choose where becuase the remaining 8 minutes where not great and this was becuse the daily mc section is just music and the interview is a little short therefore i decided to edit the thing down to the best 5 mintues
